Celeros Flow Technology are embarking on an exciting new chapter in our journey. We have a new mission: to help our customers achieve their energy goals and reduce their carbon footprint in Iine with their ambitions. Our vision is to make sustainability the driving force behind our product development and lifecycle services.

"We have been helping customers to improve efficiency and reduce emissions since our inception in 2020, but we are at an important inflection point. The world needs to achieve energy security at the lowest emissions possible, and as a company we need to recognise the opportunities this creates for our customers and our own operations," says Jose Larios, President and CEO of Celeros Flow Technology.

"Our new mission clearly defines how our flow control solutions can support our customers’ sustainability goals by reducing their carbon emissions and environmental impacts. We are committed to engineering a more sustainable future by developing products for emerging applications in carbon capture and storage, new nuclear, and renewable energy, while continuing to support existing customers in conventional power and energy to decarbonize their operations. Together, we can create a safer, more resilient and cleaner energy future.”

New energy, nuclear and defence are all targeted areas of growth for Celeros FT, but we remain committed to supporting customers across the energy spectrum, as the world transitions to more sustainable energy resources. Jose says: “Modernizing existing assets to minimize emissions and reduce energy consumption is key. Celeros FT supports this process through the development of low-emission flow control technology and the optimization of assets through maintenance and upgrades. Our full lifecycle solutions are designed to help all our customers in these areas and deliver sustainable returns.”

In line with our new mission, we have invested in a nuclear testing facility in France that supports development of safety-critical pumps for the next generation of EPR2 nuclear reactors. Major modernization is also taking place at our ClydeUnion Pumps facility in Glasgow, including environmental and energy upgrades, to facilitate manufacture of pumps that support national energy security and sustainability policies. In addition, our Valves business has recently introduced the CFT-Green Valve Packing System, designed to dramatically reduce fugitive emissions, and our signature Bandlock™2 Closures are now hydrogen-ready.

We have set a goal to make our own operations carbon neutral in the years ahead, and to achieve net zero emission by 2050 and are working with leading partners in this space to make our ambitions a reality.
